Member’s Testimonials
We have been involved with Liverpool Community Transport for over 35 years, it’s a pleasure to work with them. The staff are helpful, professional and provide a quality service to all organisations who depend on the service they provide. They are well organised and have many years of experience of supporting and providing an excellent provision for local youth & community groups.
Liverpool City Council Licensing Department, part of Liverpool’s public protection unit has been operating from the premises of Liverpool Community Transport for several years. Utilising the space for training of now fewer than 29 compliance testing stations, using the motor inspection equipment on the premises alongside the bespoke training class room to equip approx. 45 MOT testers and to date 30 Licensing officers from across the country, along with over 80 Police officers from the Merseyside area.
The feedback we receive has been excellent so much so that we continue to use the premises for our training needs. The premises are clean tidy and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome extremely professional and happy to help.
We see training as a key part of the role we play as a Licensing Department and we see Liverpool Community Transport as a KEY location to provide that training for the foreseeable future.
We happily ENDORSE Liverpool Community Transport as a serious option for all your requirements.
Friends of Chernobyl’s Children offer respite visits to children from Belarus, living in the area affected by the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. The children live very harsh lives indeed and the 4 weeks each year they spend in the UK with FOCC gives them an opportunity to breath fresh air, eat good food and enjoy an exciting and fun programme of events. They also receive medical, dental and optical checks during their visit. In order to run the visit we require the use of a minibus and LCT have supported us for the past two years with this. We have to raise all the funds required to pay for air fares, visas, interpreters and to entertain the children. The cost of hiring a minibus for the four weeks of the visit is beyond our means and the support of LCT allows us the opportunity of helping these very special children.
We are most grateful for the kindness and assistance we receive from LCT.
Liverpool Community Transport have been providing us with minibuses for the last four years to transport siblings that have a brother or sister affected by a rare medical condition called Microcephalic Primordial Dwarfism to allow us to take the siblings on a special day out during our annual international convention.
Siblings are often left out when they have a brother or sister with a disability, so we ensure that when they come with there families to attend our convention we make sure that they are given time out by themselves and treat them to a day out.
We would be lost without Liverpool Community Transport’s help, as our financial resources are limited. they provide us with a fantastic service and support during our Annual International Conventions and we cannot thank them enough, Liverpool Community Transport are the true GIANTS in our eyes!
